In pulsar binary systems, the Rmer delay correction refers to the variation in the time it takes for pulsar signals to reach Earth due to the orbital motion of the pulsar. This paper considers the second-order post-Newtonian equations of motion that include the coupling effects of spin and orbit. Based on this, it derives a new expression for the Rmer delay correction and provides a magnitude analysis of the impact of spin on the Rmer delay. The new Rmer delay correction takes into account the influence of the pulsar's spin on its orbital motion, providing a theoretical basis for more precise pulsar radio astronomical observations and tests of gravity. |
