      利用飞秒康普顿伽玛光与高Z靶相互作用,产生超短脉冲的高能正电子束.模拟研究表明,10 fs、4.2×108/s、最高能量为23 MeV的康普顿伽玛束和厘米级的铅靶相互作用(对产生)时,可以获得通量为4.2×107/s、峰值能量约为7 MeV的超短脉冲(≤100 fs)正电子束.此短脉冲、高能正电子束在精确探测或诊断材料内部的微观结构、电子动量分布及缺陷状态,以及研究材料和生物体结构的超快动力学等领域有重要的应用前景.
英文摘要:
      A scheme for generation of ultra-short and high-energy positron beam by impinging fs Compton gamma-ray beam on high-Z target is proposed.Our simulation shows that for 10 fs,≤23 MeV Compton gamma-ray beam interacting with centimeter-class lead target,about 4×107 positrons/s in the form of sub-100 fs pulses at several MeV can be produced.Such ultra-short and energetic positron beam has some potential for precise detection and diagnostics of microscopic structure,electron momentum distribution and defect state of condensed material,as well as investigating ultrafast dynamics in material and biological structures.
