| A few necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained in the discussion of a kind of convexity preserving plane parametric cubic curves which contact the second edge of characteristic polygon when convex characteristic polygons are concerned The position of Timmer curves contacting the recond edge of characteristic polygon are also given out,and thus the reason is found out why Timmer curves have inflection points |
