颅底凹陷症是一种涉及颅底结构异常的病理状态,常伴随寰枢椎关节脱位,导致严重的神经功能损害和临床症状。近年来,磁共振成像(MRI)作为一种重要的成像技术,在该疾病的诊断和分型中发挥了关键作用。本文综述了颅底凹陷症及其伴随的寰枢椎关节脱位的MRI分型方法,探讨了不同类型颅底凹陷与临床表现和预后的相关性。同时,回顾了近年来针对该疾病的治疗进展,包括保守治疗与外科干预的有效性及适应证。通过对现有文献的分析,本综述旨在为临床医生提供关于颅底凹陷症的最新认识,促进早期诊断及个体化治疗策略的制定,以改善患者的整体预后。 |

AimBasilar invagination is a pathological condition involving abnormal skull base structure, often accompanied by atlantoaxial dislocation, leading to severe neurological impairment and clinical symptoms. In recent years, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), as an important imaging technique, has played a key role in the diagnosis and classification of this disease. This article reviewed the MRI classification methods of basilar invagination and the accompanying atlantoaxial dislocation, and explored the relevant researches on the impacts of different types of basilar invagination on clinical manifestations and prognosis. At the same time, the treatment progress of this disease in recent years, including the effectiveness and indications of conservative treatment and surgical intervention, was reviewed. Through the analysis of existing literature, this review aimed to provide clinicians with the latest understanding of basilar invagination, promote early diagnosis and the formulation of individualized treatment strategies, and improve the overall prognosis of patients. |
