      糖尿病肾病(DN)是糖尿病(DM)最严重的并发症之一,DN发生及进展与肾脏纤维化密切相关,针对肾脏纤维化进行治疗对延缓DN进展具有至关重要的意义。转化生长因子-β1(TGF-β1)是肾脏纤维化过程中极为关键的因子,已被证实在DN中呈高表达,其在DN进展过程中几乎与全部细胞因子及信号通路相关。Smad是TGF-β1信号通路中下游主要效应靶点,其与TGF-β1组成了经典信号转导通路,在肾脏纤维化进展中发挥重要作用。近年来,中医药通过调控TGF-β1/Smad信号通路治疗DN效果比较理想,关于中医药治疗DN的研究逐渐增多。故本文综述了TGF-β1/Smad信号通路在DN中的研究进展,以及中医药通过调控TGF-β1/Smad信号通路对本病的干预作用及相关机制,以期为临床指导治疗DN提供新思路。

      Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the most serious complications of diabetes mellitus (DM), and its occurrence and progress are closely related to renal fibrosis. Therefore, it is of great significance to treat renal fibrosis to delay the progress of DN. Transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1), a key factor in renal fibrosis, has been proved to be highly expressed in DN, and is related to almost all cytokines and signal pathways in the progress of DN. Smad is the main target in the middle and lower reaches of TGF-β1 signaling pathway, which forms a classical signaling pathway with TGF-β1 and plays an important role in the progress of renal fibrosis. In recent years, the effect of treating DN by regulating TGF-β1/Smad signaling pathway is ideal, and the research on treating DN by traditional Chinese medicine is gradually increasing. Therefore, this paper reviews the research progress of TGF-β1/Smad signaling pathway in DN, as well as the intervention effect of traditional Chinese medicine on this disease by regulating TGF-β1/Smad signaling pathway and related mechanisms, in order to provide new ideas for clinical guidance and treatment of DN.
