| Neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) is one of the members of the lipocalin family. It can be produced by a variety of cells, widely presented in the tissues under the condition of metabolic disorders. NGAL might play an important role in insulin resistance, glycolipid metabolism, type 2 diabetes and diabetic vascular lesions. |
