Chitosanase 3-like protein 1 (CHI3L1) is a glycosyl hydrolase (GH) family protein secreted by liver macrophages, and it is one of the landmark proteins secreted by macrophages. CHI3L1 plays an important role in the body, such as mediating oxidative stress, inflammatory reaction, Tissue repair and angiogenesis. After hepatectomy, the liver is in a state of acute injury. CHI3L1 is significantly expressed by macrophages. As an angiogenesis factor, CHI3L1 acts in coordination with macrophages, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), nerve process factor inhibitor protein (Nogo) and other factors, and promotes tissue repair and angiogenesis after hepatectomy by activating various complex signal pathways. |
