| ObjectiveTo evaluate the effects of total knee replacement performed with fixed-bearing or mobile-bearing prosthesis by the theory of Cochrane systematic review.MethodAll trials comparing fixed-bearing and mobile-bearing prosthesis in total knee replacement were retrieved and included.We assessed the risk of bias and the quality of the trials,extracted the relevant data and performed a Meta-analysis.ResultSeven trials were suitable.The meta-analysis showed no significant difference between two groups in reoperation rate，rang of motion，knee score，radiolucent lines and patients satisfaction.The better knee function score was in fixed-bearing group,but there was no clinical significance.ConclusionThis study shows no significant difference between two prosthesis in total knee replacement.More high quality randomized controlled trials were required to verify this claim. |
