| ObjectiveBy studing the common causes and treatment methods of spiral CT imaging artifacts，in order to reduce the generated artifacts,improve image quality,provide a good image for the clinical data.MethodsCT images with different types and different degrees artifacts were collected and analyzed from 156 radiological examination cases in our hospital.Among them,61 cases received head and neck scan,37 cases chest scan,33 cases abdomen scan,15 cases pelvic scan,10 cases other location scan.ResultsFor the common artifacts on helical CT images,their generating mechanism and reasons are analyzed.For the physical-based,patient-based，scanner-based artifacts and reconstruction-based artifacts,the image processing solutions are proposed in detail.ConclusionUnderstanding the various artifacts of the mechanism,and using a variety of effective techniques to avoid,suppress and eliminate image artifacts are very important for optimizing the CT image and improving its quality and efficiency in the application of clinical diagnosis. |
