| Twenteen male New zealand white rabbits were fed a 32% cholesterol diet.The expression of LDL receptor gene was studied in atherosclerotic plaques and nomal aorta with Northorn blot.The expression of LDL receptor gene was enhanced in atherosclerotic plaques.The results indicated that the increase of expression of LDL receptor which was related with growth factors such as PDGF which was secreted by the cells in atherosclerotic plaque. |
