      本文对鹌鹑实验性动脉粥样硬化的主动脉和冠状动脉进行了光镜和电镜观察及非特异性酯酶组织化学研究。喂高脂饮食2周,主动脉和冠状动脉内即出现早期小斑块,病变随着实验时间的延长而进展。斑块内泡沫细胞主要来源于中膜的平滑肌细胞,巨噬细胞源性泡沫细胞极少见。鹌鹑饲料方便,来源充足,喂以高脂饮食能在短期内有效地诱发动脉粥样硬化,可以认为是研究动脉粥样硬化较为理想的动物模型。
英文摘要:
      The aortae and coronary arteries of 30 Japanese quails fed on cholesterol and lard were studied by light and electron microscope and histochemical staining. After 2 weeks on the atherogenic diet, the small plaques of the aortae and coronary arteries were found. As the time of cholesterol feeding increased the lesions advanced, It was found that most foam cells of the plaques originated from smooth muscle cells of the arterial media and a few from macrophages. As the Japanese quail has the advantages of good supply, easy feeding, early and effectively induced atherosclerosis, it is reasonable to be considered that Japanese quail may be used as a relatively desirable model of experimental atherosclerosis.
