| We analyse 311 cases of gastric carcinoma diagnosed by fiberoscope. 308 cases were in advanced stage and eight in early stage.The early lessions were mainly confined to mucous and submucous layers,though three early cases had metastasized in the lymph nodes.In this paper the endoscopic classification of gastric carcinoma,and the commonest predilection sites of the lession in this geographical area as well as the confirmation rate by biopsy study.were discussed.The agreement in sites,shapea nd size of the carcinoma between fiberoscopic and postoperative examination is also discussed. |
