The ruling discourse of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is essentially a statement and explanation of the Party's theory and practice of ruling. The ruling discourse of the Party in the new era not only inherits and innovates the basic ideas of the classic Marxist writers on the doctrine of political parties, but also enriches and develops the CPC's century-long ruling experience and ruling discourse, and also runs through the Party's great practice of ruling the country in the new era. This discourse and its narrative system have their own internal logic, i.e. the narrative theme is to achieve the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the narrative stance is people-centred, the narrative content is the discourse of national governance and political party governance, and the narrative mode is a combination of historical and realistic narratives. To construct the discourse-narrative system of party governance in the new era, we should promote the participation of multiple subjects in the discourse-narrative, grasp the characteristics of the target audience of the discourse-narrative, enhance the excavation and elaboration of the discourse-narrative text, and optimise the discourse-narrative dissemination mode, so as to provide effective support for the telling of the party's story, dissemination of the party's voice, and establishment of a good image of the party. |
