| In the contemporary intellectual landscape, the "specter of Marx" continues to linger. As the fragmented narratives of postmodernism grow increasingly exhausted and the ideological myths of neoliberalism successively crumble, we seem to have returned to the very intellectual battlefield where Marx once fought. It is within this zeitgeist that Professor Huang Qiusheng''s work, Escaping the Speculative Cage: A Study of Marx''s Three Major Philosophical Critiques, published by China Social Sciences Press, opens a theoretical window for us to reinterpret Marx''s philosophical revolution. This book systematically examines Marx''s threefold critique—targeting the philosophy of religion, speculative philosophy, and sensualist philosophy—revealing how Marx, through sustained theoretical breakthroughs, ultimately broke free from the speculative cage and established a new philosophical paradigm: practical materialism. |
