| i>Report on an Investigation of the Peasant Movement in Hunan” is a classic work by Mao Zedong that systematically expounds the revolutionary ideas of peasants, while implicitly containing his ideas on women's liberation. Mao Zedong reveals the supporting background of women's liberation issues in the “Report”, covering the deep logical structure of the original context of Marxist women's views and Chen Duxiu's right-wing opportunism interfered by the Communist International representative Borodin. In the context of the peasant revolution, Mao Zedong considered women's liberation a historical issue consistent with the liberation of the peasant class, with poor peasant women as the main force, and unity as the path to liberation. This theory promoted Mao Zedong's women's liberation thought to achieve a historical turning point.
