| This study uses the interpretative structural model (ISM) and the cross-impact matrix multiplication (MICMAC) to deeply analyze the multiple factors affecting residents' willingness to pay for renewable energy and their hierarchical relationships. From the perspective of social economy, living environment and individual characteristics, 18 core factors including age, gender, housing area, household electricity expenditure, response to financial subsidies and economic cost expectations were determined. The results show that there are complex interactions and hierarchical structures among these factors. Among them, economic costs and government subsidy policies directly affect willingness to pay, while factors such as education level and quality of life indirectly affect it. Based on these findings, the study puts forward suggestions such as strengthening the popularization of renewable energy knowledge and designing economic incentive mechanisms to improve residents' acceptance and willingness to pay for renewable energy and promote the realization of the dual-carbon goal. These suggestions help to better understand the formation mechanism of residents' willingness to pay and provide strong support for the promotion and application of renewable energy. |
