| The report of the twentieth Party Congress points out that it is necessary to carry forward the spiritual spectrum of the Chinese Communists, with the great Party-founding spirit as its source. Hunan's glorious revolutionary tradition, rich cultural resources and high political awareness have become an indispensable part of the spiritual spectrum of the CPC. The Hunan gene in the spiritual genealogy of the CPC is a profound portrayal of Hunan's role in the 100-year history of the Party.
