| During the Yan'an period, the Communist Party of China took “Chinese Culture” as its research position and launched the theoretical and practical exploration of “the second combination”. In the value dimension, “the second combination” reveals the important value of Chinese traditional culture in striving for revolutionary victory and new cultural construction, and systematically summarizes the relationship between Marxism and Chinese traditional culture. In terms of goal orientation, “the second combination” gives full play to the mobilization and unity role of the ideological and cultural front, and points out the prospects for the development of socialism for “where China is going”.
