| An abundance of images of wine have been found in poems by Wang Chuanshan after a comprehensive study, which comprise direct images and indirect images. Wine images are combined with images of nature, images of people and images of events. Combinations are parallel, hierarchical and comparative formally; Grammatically, combinations consist of verb-object structures and modifier-core structures. Wine images are used to express the poet's grief and aesthetics. |
