| Based on the Grounded Theory approach, the paper conducted in-depth interviews with community residents of the Taohuajiang Nuclear Power Plant, and used NVivo12 for text analysis, examining community attitudes toward the restart of inland nuclear power in terms of the nuclear science quality and revealing the deep-seated reasons of public acceptance. The study finds that the nuclear science quality, especially its embedded values and the transfer of affective attitudes can partially explain the underlying mechanisms of public acceptance; good nuclear science quality contributes to the stability of public acceptance. |
