| The Communist Party of China (CPC)'s nuclear safety theory has the theoretical quality of advancing with the times, and it has experienced three historical stages:the formation period, the deepening and latest achievement period. Based on inheriting the nuclear safety thoughts of several generations of central leaders such as Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, Xi Jinping has made major innovations and developments in the nuclear safety theory of CPC, mainly reflected in the “four first proposals”:First, it is the first time that China's nuclear safety concept has been proposed, which has strengthened the systematic nature of CPC's nuclear safety theory; Second, it is the first time that nuclear safety should be included in the overall national safety system, which demonstrates the popular character of CPC's nuclear safety theory; Third, it is the first time to put forward the four major relationships in the field of nuclear safety and their handling methods, highlighting the scientific nature of CPC's nuclear safety theory; Fourth, it is the first time to propose building a community with a shared future for nuclear safety, demonstrating the universality of CPC's nuclear safety theory. Xi Jinping has important epochal significance for the innovation and development of CPC's nuclear safety theory, which is manifested in advancing the Sinicization of Marxist security concept, guiding the safe and efficient development of our country's nuclear energy industry in the new era, and leading the correct direction of global nuclear safety governance. |
