| The report at 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has comprehensively expounded Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a new era and put forward the strategy of rural vitalization. As one of Seven Strategies, the strategy of rural vitalization, playing a role with important function, is the new strategic deployment and requirements made by the Communist Party of China Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core towards the work of agriculture, rural areas and rural people. Firstly, the strategy of rural vitalization is the cornerstone to realize the Two Centenary Goals. It addresses the weak links for building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects and strengthens the weak parts when building China into a great modern socialist country. The strategy of rural vitalization is also the indicating light of the work of agriculture, rural areas and rural people, which can make rural areas more beautiful, agriculture stronger and rural people wealthier. The strategy of rural vitalization can booster the development of urban-rural integration. It targets for thriving businesses and the modernization of agriculture and rural areas. |
