| The Lotus Girl Dirge” is one of lingering and gorgeous memorial essay in “Dream of the Red Chamber”, witten by Jia Baoyu after Qing Wen was dead. This article is written in the imitation of Qu Yuan's songs of Chu, and is written by the influence of Chu culture, which is the typical example of Cao Xueqin “Shi Chu” in “Dream of the Red Chamber”. The description of sacrifice, leading soul and sending off the god about Lotus God, and plant worship in his essay and mental aesthetic standard of melancholy beauty, is influenced by Qu Yuan’s Cisao Art and Chu Culture Art significantly.
