      文章以顺应论为理论基础,通过自建语料库,对语料进行对比分析,主要从语言语境顺应和非语言语境顺应两方面探讨湘菜菜名的英译原则,并试图为湘菜菜名的英译找到更加有效的翻译策略。
English Summary:
      With Adaptation Theory as its theoretical basis,this research makes an attempt to observe and analyze English translation of names of Hunan Cuisine based on a self-compiled corpus. The study finds that the translator should skillfully implement linguistic adaptation and extra-linguistic adaptation in English translation of names of Hunan Cuisine. The thesis concludes that Adaptation Theory is applicable to English translation of names of Hunan Cuisine.
