| 规范的双语标识是文化软实力的重要体现，很大程度上反映了所在城市及国家的开放程度和管理水平，对于提升城市的国际形象具有重要的现实意义。文章在梳理国内外标识语研究现状的基础上，重点阐释了自建标识语汉英双语平行语料库的研制过程。在语料库设计方面，文章探讨了语料库建库目的、语料规模、语料选取标准、代表性和取样策略等五个方面的内容；在语料库创建方面，则对语料采集、语料的电子化、语料标注和语料平行等几个方面进行了讨论，旨在为从事相关翻译研究和实践的研究人员提供研究思路和借鉴。 |

| Being an embodiment of soft cultural power, the standardized public signs both in English and Chinese, to a large extent, are the reflection of the management level and the international image of the city, or even the whole country. This paper introduces the design rationale and the process of compiling the Chinese-English Parallel Corpus of Public Signs on the basis of a critical review of the existing study of public signs. The design and compilation of corpus includes the purpose, scale, criteria, representativeness, sampling, data collection, digitalization, tagging, and alignment respectively. The purpose of this paper is to provide a reference for researchers. |
