| 王船山的《说文广义》首次以专著形式研究词义引申。其词义的注释方法、体例和所用术语都与《说文解字注》有诸多相似，关于词义引申规律的论述，二者也所见略同。鉴于《说文广义》在词义引申理论及方法上的创见，语言学界应将之纳入汉语史并确立其应有地位。 |

| Extending Meanings are studied in Wang Chuan Shan’s Shuo Wen Guang Yi firstly in the form of special works; There are many similarities with Shuo Wen Jie Zi Zhu for the methods of word notes,style and terms used in this book. There are almost the same views about the laws of extending meanings between these two books. In view of the original ideals about the theory and methods of extending meanings in Shuo Wen Guang Yi,the linguistic field ought to write it into the Chinese history and establish the just status. |
