| 哥特小说从２０世纪５０年代开始受到文学评论界的青睐，人们抛弃哥特等于恐怖的固有理念，认为哥特小说的体裁、美学特点、性别意识等都具有研究价值。文章从文化研究的角度分析《奥多芙的神秘》中的美学话语“崇高”，从而发现作品中的“崇高”其实是不平等权利结构的体现，进而看出作者借小说向男权社会的话语提出的质疑。 |
| English Summary: |
| The literary criticism paid lots of attention to the study of gothic novel since 1950s. Beyond the stereotype of gothic being horror, gothic novels can be studied from genre, aesthetic figures and gender consciousness and so on. This paper studies the aesthetic discourse “sublime” in The Mysteries of Udolpho through the perspective of cultural studies, uncovering the unequal power structure in this discourse, and sees this novel as a question to the patriarchy discourse. |
