| In the contemporary world, social stratification is a social phenomenon in every society. This paper compares the social stratification and its mechanism in China and the United States. Under the modern framework, the article analyses the similarities and differences of them. The aim of the paper is to provide lessons and reflections on how to establish a just and rational modern social stratification system in China. |
