| The agricultural production was the most important material production since the ancient times in our country. In Song Dynasty, the agricultural belief was a common folk phenomenon of popular culture, which has a steady mass basis in the local community. Its purpose is to tend to suspiciousness and to avoid misfortune, to pray for well-being. The agricultural belief created positive influences on adjusting psychology of the general public,stabilization of social orders, and protection of natural environment. |
