| Povest vremennykh let is one of the earliest historical texts which records the origin and foundation of ancient Russia. In the past the reviews on this text focus on its historical function and literalness. This text attempts to give an analysis to the author’s racial, relational and gender ideology displayed during the course of writing this text with the help of Foulcaut’s discourse. At last it is concluded that history as a kind of knowledge is influenced and determined by the speaker’s ideology. |
