| Poetry is considered to be the essence of a nation’s language, loaded with rich cultural connotations. Chinese classical poetry is an indispensible part of Chinese classical literature. The attraction or charm of a poem lies in its ideorealm, which plays a vital role in poetry creation and appreciation. This paper intends to introduce the conception of ideorealm on the English translation of ecology-relevant poetry in Hongloumeng, and tries to provide a new angle for poetry translation and cultural exchange. |
