| 文章就高等教育的发展与衡阳地区经济发展的关系进行了探讨，论述了高等教育在区域经济社会发展中的作用、服务区域经济社会的模式和途径，认为衡阳高等教育的发展与经济社会发展的需要还有一定的距离，还需科学定位，进一步扩大办学规模，提高办学层次，创新人才培养模式，调整学科专业结构，选择特色发展和与区域经济协调发展的战略。 |

| This paper explores the relationship between the higher education development and Hengyang regional economy development, discusses the role of higher education in regional economic and social development, models and ways of serving regional economic socity. It thinks that there are still a certain distance between the development of higher education and regional economic socity,which needs a scientific orientation to further expand the school running scale, improve the level of school, innovate training model, adjust the structure of academic disciplines, select the harmonious strategy of characteristic development. |
