中国外宣资料翻译往往采取音译、直译等异化手段对文化负载词进行移植,创造出具有中国特色的英语词汇或语言风格。异化翻译策略是可行的而且是必要的,主要有以下几个原因:外宣翻译的目的之一是为了向外界传播中国特色文化;随着国际交往日渐增多,译语读者对异域文化的接受水平也不断提高;采用异化策略有助于中国在国际交流中享有应有的话语权。 |

Foreignization strategy such as transliteration and literal translation is usually taken to translate culture-loaded words in Chinese propaganda texts, which is feasible and necessary. The main reasons are as followed: First, one of the purposes of propaganda text translation is to transmit Chinese culture to the outside world; second, with the increasing of international exchange, target readers’ accepting capacity of exotic culture is also improving; third, adopting foreignization strategy can help China to enjoy her due power of discourse in international exchange. |
