| FENG was a typical property adjective in ancient Chinese, it transformed into a semi-free morpheme in Southern and Northern Dynasties; and finally became a boundary morpheme in Tang dynasty as a whole. As for its category, those multi-syllable words which is comprised by FENG shifted into stative ones. |
