| This article summarizes the practical experience of management in the reform and development of University of South China.It explores how the former universities affilliated to the Ministries and Commissions seize the historic opportumity to clear the school management orientation after revolution in the higher education system;boroaden the science and technology service to meet the needs of the national strategy; pursue development with characteristics to train and provide qualified personel for the industry and society; rely on dominant disciplines to enhance the service capacity for the industry and local economic society, in order to become multidisciplinary universities with significant industry characteristics and advantages. |
