| Meritorious service system is a unique penal system in China. Its establishment has some theoretical and practical basis. But in practice, large numbers of abnormal meritorious behavior prompted us to re-examine the basis of a system of meritorious service, and it is necessary to gradually adjust the current system and ultimately to abolish our system of the meritorious service in criminal law of our country. |
