| There are some non-medieval words with the initial consonants of “明”and “微” which are pronounced with the initial consonants of “m” in Dongkou Shanmen dialect. This paper discusses the condition and process of their phonetic changes. This phonetic phenomenon provides a clear evidence for the interrelationship between dialects. |
