| 语汇借用是语言交流中必然会出现的一种社会现象，是文化融合和语言发展的必然产物。文章试从跨文化的角度来诠释英汉双语在不同交际年代的互借互动特征以及交际中出现的“借用不对等”与民族中心主义，最后验证借词在跨文化交际中传通、融合异域信息的功效。 |

| Loan words are the inevitable product of culture fusion & language development in the course of language exchange. In this paper, the author would like to account for the loaning features between Chinese & English in different communication eras, loaning inequivalency and ethnocentrism in communication from the perspective of cross-cultural communication, and then verify the function of loan words in conveying and fusing exotic cultures during the process of cross-cultural communication. |
