| Pun is an important and specific figure of speech in both English and Chinese languages. This paper explores the differences of both English and Chinese pun from the pragmatic perspective, and the author uses the pragmatic translation as a theory to put forward the tactics to be taken in the translation in order to reproduce the original artistic achievements in the target language. |
