| The faithfulness to the original text is necessary,but there is no absolutely faithful translation.We should make clear what we should be faithful to,how to achieve the faithfulness and what the relationship between "treason" and "faithfulness" is.This article hold that,on some occasions,translators' purposeful strategic treason can help them to achieve the effect of faithfulness to its original text,and that the creative treason is the most commonly used strategy in literary translation. |
