| 套译是英汉习语翻译中被频频使用的一种翻译方法。文章拟从两个方面分析影响套译的因素:归化策略的的观点为套译提供了理论依据,而习语的国俗语义的差异则可能制约套译的质量。实例分析表明套译中存在着归化过度现象,其本质不利于习语的国俗语义在不同文化中的充分传递,二者的矛盾限制了套译法的实施。 |

| Equivalent translation is frequently employed in idiom translation.The present paper endeavors to explore the factors which produce influences on equivalent translation from two aspects :domesticating strategy provides theoretical standpoints for equivalent translation,meanwhile the differences in the national-cultural semantics of the idioms may restrict the quality of equivalent translation.Case study illustrates that over-domestication exists in equivalent translation,and the nature of over-domestication hinders the national-cultural semantics from being fully transferred.The contradiction of the two factors confines the practice of equivalent translation |
