| The direct object of translation is the original text, and the final product is the translated text. Coherence is a basic feature of the text, that is to say, the translation process is in fact to recognize and reconstruct the textual coherence. This paper expounds the importance of translator's coherence thought in the process of translation, including understanding of the original text, reconstructing of the faithful and smooth translated text, and proofreading of the translated text in the whole. |
