| The Criminal Summary Procedure stipulated in the Criminal Procedure Law of the PRC is easy,quick and perhaps efficient in dealing with court cases.Howerver,judicial practice has indicated that problems do exist in it.For instance,it applies to only a small proportion of cases,and insufficient to safeguard the defendant's rights and interests.To give full play of its effectiveness and fairness,countermeasures are therefore put forward in this article. |
