| 构建和谐社会是我国新时期现代化建设的战略目标,民主法治是社会主义和谐社会的重要特征,没有民主法治就没有社会主义和谐社会。改革开放以来,我国民主法治建设取得了很大成绩,但也还存在公民民主法治素质偏低,立法、依法行政、司法水平和质量有待提高等问题。新时期构建和谐社会,必须始终坚持党的领导,着重加强青少年和国家工作人员的民主法治教育,在发展民主制度、推进依法行政和公正司法中加强民主法治建设。 |

| Constructing a harmonious socialist society is the strategic goal of modernization construction of New Period China.Democracy and rule of law are the important characteristics of the harmonious socialist society.Without democracy and rule of law,there is no harmonious socialist society.Much has been achieved in the construction of democracy and rule of law in China since the reform and opening up to the outside world.However,problems exist.Citizens are not fully aware of the importance of democracy and rule of law.Legislation,administration and judicature are yet to be improved.To construct the harmonious society in New Period,we must adhere to the leadership of the Communist Party of China,emphasize on the education of juvenile and civil servants on democracy and rule of law,strengthen the construction of democracy and rule of law in the process of developing the democratic system and advancing administration by law and fair judicature. |
