| Skopos theory is the foundation of the German Functionalism's translation theory, which mainly contains the skopos rule, the coherence rule and fidelity rule. This thesis expounds the applications of the three rules in scientific text translation respectively and explains some translating methods in scientific text from the functional aspect of the target text. |
