| 英汉民族在价值标准、审美取向、宗教信仰、文化征象、地理环境及生产方式等方面存在着差异,由此而产生文化负迁移现象。理解语言必须了解文化,理解文化必须了解语言,两者相辅相成。为避免或减少文化负迁移对翻译的影响,必须增强对文化共同之处的掌握度,提高对文化差异的敏感性。 |

| Negative cultural transfer comes into being in the process of Chinese-English translation because of the differences between their standards of value, aesthetic conceptions, religious beliefs, signs of culture, geographical surroundings and modes of production. Before we understand a language, we have to understand its culture. Enhancing sensibility of cultural differences and similarities is an effective way to avoid the interference of negative cultural transfer in Chinese-English translation. |
