      城市区域旅游形象是人们对某一特定城市各种信息在头脑中反映后而形成的综合认知印象。良好的城市形象对外可扩大旅游市场 ,对内可提高市民凝聚力 ,促进区域社会经济整体发展。根据衡阳市所具有的山水型风景城市、历史化文化名城、区域性政治经济文化中心优势 ,将其定位为我国南方最大的特色性文化旅游和宗教朝圣地 ,湖南省中东部地带重要的山地性生态休闲度假中心。
English Summary:
      City regional tourism image is the comprehensive reflection and acknowledge of the special city made in people's mind. Good city image can expand tourism market to the outside, and improve the citizen's agglomerate power, and the whole development of the regional social economy. There are advantages in Hengyang city, like landscape with nountains and rivers, famous history and culture, and the center of regional politics and economy and culture. Hengyang is oriented as the biggest special culture tour place and religion bethel in south of China and the center of hilly and ecologic tourism in central east of Hunan province.
